Boat Rides
Taking a ride in a boat is a fine experience with gives you the feelings of adventure and leisure. In Sri Lanka, there are many rivers for you to get that experience. Apart from that, you can get that experience even in the sea also.
Especially in places like Hikkaduwa you can take a ride in a boat in which the bottom is made of glass so that you can explore the beauties in the bottom sea.

Hikkaduwa
Many boat services are available there to give you a ride to the deep sea. Most of the boats have a glass bottom so that the bottom of the sea is clearly visible.
Madu River
This is the main boat ride in a river in Sri Lanka. This takes at-least 3 hours to complete and there are more than 50 islands in this river. There are many species of birds and animals too.
Kithulgala
Kitulgala is located to some much center of the island. It is also a fine place to get an adventurous experience with whitewater rafting.
Pottuvil
This ride is not very famous. In the early morning there are thousands of birds on trees. There you can see many mangrove plants too.
Gal Oya
It is unique, something not many people have done, and an opportunity to witness the usually hidden behavior of certain animalcule collections.
