Kithulgala
Kitulgala is a small town in the western province situated 95km away from Colombo that attracts many residents and foreign tourists for its natural beauty. It is in the wet zone rain forest, which gets two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in the country. Kitulgala is surrounded by forested hills making way to the swift waters of the Kelani River.
There are so many activities you can do in Kithulgala. White Water Rafting, Jungle Trekking, Confidence Jump, Natural Pool Swimming, Natural Stream Rock Sliding, River Bath are the most popular among them.

Makandawa Forest
Makandawa forest reserve is one of the oldest forest reserves in the country and it is home to some of the most endangered wildlife including endemic, migratory and resident birds.
Aberdeen Falls
The Aberdeen falls begins with the Kehelgamu Oya, a tributary of the Kelani river. The waterfall consists of seven small waterfalls.
Olu ella Falls
Olu Ella Falls in Yatiyantota near Kithulgala is the 6th tallest waterfall in the country. This is also the highest waterfall in connected to the Kelani River.
Beli Lena
Evidence of prehistoric human presence as early as 32,000 years ago was recorded at Beli Lena. The skeletal remains of ten individuals were discovered from there.
