
Mirissa

Mirissa is a small town located on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It belongs to the Mathara district and there are about 240 kilometers from Colombo.
Mirissa has a stunning crescent beach where many people get attracted. And it is very much famous for the coconut palm and polhena beach. You will find modest guesthouses abound and there's a string of simple restaurants at the back of the sand. In recent years Mirissa has developed a reputation as a party destination for young travelers, and in high season DJ spin pumping tunes till late several nights a week. If you're looking for solitude and zen-like calm, this may not be the beach for you.

Palm
A 15-minute from Mirissa Beach is a small coconut farm on a hilltop. The view or sunset view from here is simply amazing.You can access it via one of the restaurants nearby or by a small walk through the water.

Polhena
Beach
Polhena is a small town and there is an ideal beach to have a nice bath. The sea waves are not very hard and you will experience the feeling of a swimming pool.

Secret
Beach
A tiny secluded beach and not the easiest place to reach. That’s why Secret Beach is so beautiful. There are one small bar and a local woman selling coconuts. Enjoy an incredible sunset from Secret Beach.

Surfing
Mirissa Beach is a good spot to start surfing in Sri Lanka. The waves look great and since there’s just little crowd, surfers really love being here. Surf from October to March for ideal surfing conditions.

There you will find uncountable number of great bars and restaurants. And do not forget to have a drink of king coconut.
